Fresh Air

Breathing in air never felt so sweet.
This place is amazing. Nick and I have been on the island of Paros for just a few short days and I love it here. We are WWOOFing now and it feels great. Everyday there is a mini chorus inside my body cheering for it's restored health! I am eating amazing food, sweating in some physical work, basking in the warmth of sun on my face, slumbering soundly and chewing on vibrant conversations. The property we are staying at sits high on a hill, but in a valley of its own, two higher hills to its sides. From the front porch of the main house, we overlook the sea (from a distance of course, but even so, it is breathtaking). This is a place where dreams are made, straight from the front of a postcard.

So far, in our volunteering, we've done a bit of landscaping and some woodworking. I am turning into a regular joe carpenter! Well not really... but I AM learning some key skills here. Bring on the drills and sanders!
