Really, who lives like this? No one! It's like a dream! Tarek lives outside the city of Montpellier on the harbour. The Mediterranean sea is in his backyard. Nick even went swimming a few days ago (crazy man), but that is just an indication of how nice the weather has been. My little cooking lesson got moved until tonight so I am brushing up on my French cuisine-speak. We have also been introduced to some pretty typical french dishes, through our gracious host. One particular dish made my stomach churn: Blood Sausage. What is blood sausage, you ask? Exactly that: A sausage comprised only of coagulated blood. It is fried up and typically served with bread, cheese and applesauce. I had one bite, for the record, and that was more than enough for me! Tonight, the main contender is Corine's famous Cous-Cous. I have cooked with cous cous before, but I am very intrigued to learn a few tricks that my master has up her french sleeves. Bon Appetit!
